So I May Be A Little Late With This...

Because I may have underestimated how long it would take. By five or seven hours. And 800 Photoshop layers.

I just sat and watched that for nine full minutes. The first minute or so was terrifying, the next five minutes were full of celebrating whenever I recognized ANYONE, and then the last few were all "AAAH FINALLY I SHOWED UP, I KNOW ALL THESE PEOPLE!"

I cannot answer that specifically, but I can say that it's definitely over 900, because that's how many layers there are in my Photoshop file. (I'm rounding down; it was over 900, but I'm not going to fire it up again because the damned thing crashes Photoshop on every third attempt.)

I'd guess somewhere near 1100, factoring in the early ones that came and went in the blink of an eye, back before we had friending lists.

True story: that gif is actually just icon-sized, laid over a table with the FH card as a background, because ImageReady could not handle saving the file if I stuck the background in. FH HAS MORE CHARACTERS THAN AN ADOBE PRODUCT CAN HANDLE WITHOUT CRASHING.

(Which, ok, is not saying much.)

Mine requires no talent, though, unlike yours. Just a lot of lather, rinse, repeat. "Copy friending lists to text file, search & replace to turn it into links, open many tabs, copy/paste image into photoshop, save before it crashes, open in ImageReady, make frames from layers, poof."

Where poof equals "Watch ImageReady crash when you try to save it," of course.
